Adjacent to the University of Pennsylvania campus, The Hub serves as an urban focal point signaling the revilalization of South 40th Street with new retail and 101 loft style apartments. The 9 story concrete structure is clad with either wood veneer or corrugated metal panels installed as a rainscreen. The scale of the street is respected by the carefully designed collage composition of these two materials in conjunction with setback terraces and colorful canopy elements.
